Mission Statement

The Russian Ballet History Collection is dedicated to preserving, collecting, exhibiting and providing future generations with a broadened education of the historic artistic collaboration of Diaghilev’s Ballets Russes and its impact on the disciplines of dance, choreography, art, costume design, and classical music composition.  RBHC envisions returning dance to a sought-after art form, recognized by all as an important part of modern American culture.

This mission is accomplished by broadening the appreciation of ballet as a more modern and relevant compilation of visual art, performing art and music.   The mission will be accomplished through educational programs, creative use of traditional and social media, developing relationships among college & universities, museums, art schools, cultural centers, new multi-layered artistic competitions urging creative growth and expansion and other outreach programs.
