I'm new at this; please bear with me if I don't have it down quite right yet.
I once owned a reproduction of a stunning poster that announced a contemporary Daghilev Ballets Russes tribute event. (And I believe the reproduction had been originally purchased in the 1980s (?) Ít was stolen from me some time ago, and I don't remember details, such as the date of the event or its exact location. However, the layout of the poster was unforgetable. Its central image was an exact (or nearly so) copy of the cover of the November, 1915 Saturday Evening Post cover that appears on the History of Ballets Russes page of your website (5th image from the top, I believe). That image was surrounded with a wide black border extending to the poster's edge, which was super-imposed with subdued gold lettering giving details of the event. I've spent hours on the Internet looking for an image of that poster. I was about to give up, when I came across your website and the S.E.P. cover image!
Has anyone ever seen that poster? Does anyone know whether or not the repro. may still be commercialy available anywhere? (Nowhere that I could see on the 'net) Alternatively, if the S.E.P. cover is one of the images in your collection you may be considering for reproduction, that would be almost as good! (The dominating wide black border on the former, made the central image all the more vibrant, of course).
